Ministry Area Leaders – Leadership Development Programme

January 22, 2016

A good time for reflection and conversations and to re-think where we are.

16  Ministry Area leaders met in Sarum College, Salisbury for the first residential of the training programme. Their main meeting room looked out onto the cathedral close – with a wonderful view of the Cathedral.

Enjoyable. A good learning experience and really useful networking time.

The Ministry Area leaders learned, worshipped and ate together and enjoyed the warm welcome extended to them by the College.

Stimulating – it has given me new ways of looking at things.

The training, which will comprise a series of meetings and support, is being led by Tim Harle, Sue Heatherington and Keith Lamdin.

I came open to surprise – and I have been pleasantly surprised!

It was the first opportunity for the Ministry Area Leaders to spend time together in conversation, and much of the time was dedicated to thinking about and talking through their new roles.

First class teaching balanced with plenty of space for personal reflection and discussion with others.

Here are some of the comments – and some pictures of what it was like!

A good place to think – and in a faith culture.
