A Lamb in Church

More people than usual were in church on Sunday as the congregation gathered for the annual lambing service at St. Afan’s, Llanafan Fawr on 21st February.
There was a special welcome for two important guests: Charlotte and Clarissa, a ewe and lamb.
It was an opportunity to pay for farmers throughout the world and ask for God’s blessing on the lambing season and all forms of harvest. We had a wonderful time – but were mindful of the hard work that our local farmers are putting in at this time.
